早上浏览新闻，看到CRAZYENGLISH创始人李阳老师的一篇《中国大学应该取消所有的英语课本!》
虽然他的观点有些偏激，这不排除他为了吸引关注的可能，但其中很多学习英语的方法确实是我们学习和模仿。

大学生英语宣言
The Declaration of University Students

Traditional textbooks are a waste of paper!
传统课本是浪费纸张！
Once a university student has mastered basic grammar and reading skills,
he needs to push himself into the real world of learning
and not waste his time on naive, out-dated materials.
一旦大学生掌握了基本语法和阅读技巧，
他就应该强迫自己进入真正的世界级学习平台，
而不是在过时、弱智的材料上浪费时间！
Even the so-called "most advanced" college English textbooks are weak and insufficient
to prepare you for the level of communication needed to succeed in today's world!

If you really want to learn English well, throw out your textbooks.
Spend your time watching CNN, BBC, and other authentic English news broadcasts over the Internet. Even an article from the China Daily
will teach you more useful and practical vocabulary than your textbooks.
Read, listen, and copy down every word you encounter that is unfamiliar.
Learn those words,
keep them in a notebook with useful sentences.
Recite what you hear and what you read over and over again.
If you keep at this diligently for one month, you will surpass every student
who only sticks to his traditional textbooks.

你不能说你没有语言环境！
STOP using the Internet to chat and play games!
不要再用网络来聊天和打游戏了！
Make the Internet your high-level English textbook!
让网络成为你的高水平英语课本！

中学学英语纯粹是为了“对付考试”，一天到晚就是做卷子，改卷子，对答案！我对此表示理解和容忍！到了大学，如果还是这一套，我们就不能再容忍了！因为，这种做法将对中华民族的未来会产生“毁灭性的影响”！

中学英语教学成为了“生意”：大量没有用的教学辅导书，大量的卷子！严重浪费了国家的森林资源，并造成了巨大的污染！

大学英语教学也成为了“生意”！四六级的生意！辅导书的生意！这是制造“大量垃圾”的生意！高等教育出版社、外研社都把大学英语做成了生意！最好英语永远学不好，这样生意就可以永远做下去！

为什么说大学英语应该“取消课本”？
第一、课本无法与时代同步！内容陈旧、不实用！
第二、大多数课文没有什么意义！
第三、严重限制了学生的阅读范围！
第四、课本给学生强烈的学习、任务、应付等负面的情绪，严重削弱学生主动学习英语的热情！

学了很多年的大学英语，仍然无法做到：
一、直接阅读美国报纸、期刊、网站！
二、更谈不上不与世界自由交流！

我的建议：
一、21世纪，鲜活的英语材料无处不在！直接从世界权威媒体上下载最实用的学习材料！
二、让大学生全面进入“阅读”和“思考”的时代！不要再传授无用、过时的语法和考试技巧！
三、以美国精英大学生的英语水平来要求我们的大学生！他们能够阅读的材料，中国大学生必须能够阅读！印度就是我们学习的榜样！
四、彻底改革中国大学四六级的考试！
